About me…

Born and raised in western New South Wales, I spent a majority of my early years playing sports, drinking beers and running a muck with my brothers and our mates. I was exposed to the world of art, specifically oil painting early in life. My father Greg Brennan is a very established artist in his own rights, winning many local awards and prizes throughout the last 50 years. His art and talent is where my passion for art first developed.

At 18 I left my home town of Narromine and spent my 20’s and early 30’s travelling and working around the beautiful and remote areas of northern Australia. Spending many years in Darwin, Cairns and Weipa. It was in Weipa where I began my electrical apprenticeship, met my wife Trish and had our first son Matthew.

In 1993, after the birth of our second son Liam, we moved to the beautiful Far North Queensland town of Innisfail which is where we still reside. Over the years I worked as an electrician within the sugar industry, while drawing and painting as a hobby.

By 2012, both sons had left the nest to pursue university degrees, and I made the decision to move back to the mining industry and enter the world of Fly-in-Fly-out work. This opened up a new world for me, and gave me more time to work on my art and improve my craft.

With the rise of social media I started to share my work through both Facebook and Instagram which has been an amazing way to reconnect with old friends and share my love for painting. This website will aim to add to this, while providing those who visit with an opportunity to browse, purchase or request art.

I hope you enjoy my work, and I sincerely thank you for visiting!
